Links News
Friday 14th March, 2025
Dear Links Families,
This week, we've seen lots of learning taking place around the school! It’s been wonderful to hear the Year 2 children share their fantastic stories with us, showcasing their creativity and imagination. Additionally, our classrooms have been buzzing with engaging topic work, with students exploring ideas beyond what’s written in their books. Year 5 had an exciting trip to the science museum, which truly supported their studies on space. It’s great to see our children so enthusiastic and involved in their learning. Here’s to more fantastic weeks ahead!
Show Racism the Red Card
We take anti-racism seriously at our school! This term, all year groups have been diving into an engaging scheme of work focused on understanding and tackling racism. We believe it’s vital to educate our students about anti-racism, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for everyone. From discussions and workshops to creative projects, our students are learning how to stand up against prejudice and promote diversity. It’s been inspiring to see so much enthusiasm and commitment from both staff and students. Together, we are taking meaningful steps towards creating a more equitable and understanding community.
We also registered and took part in the Show Racism the Red Card competition. One of the categories was to design a t-shirt for Show Racism the Red Card. Below are some of our T-Shirt designs and you can see the powerful message our students want to portray.

Congratulations to Issac in 4P, who designed the winning entry. His t-shirt delivers a powerful and clear message to everyone.
