Friday 15th December 2023
Dear Links Families,
It is a real bonus of my current role that I get to experience two lots of school Christmas events and it’s been wonderful this week to experience the Year 5 performance of ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Camelot’. I know the many of you that came along on Wednesday evening were richly entertained by the fantastic acting, dancing and singing from a very talented group of children. Then, this morning it was my pleasure to attend the Nursery and Reception concert, which was just fabulous. The school choir were equally impressive in their concert on Tuesday, as were the performing arts club on Monday when they presented their performance of ‘Scrooge’. What a great week!
We’re almost at the end of term but not quite yet. We break up for the Christmas break on Thursday 21st December so please ensure that, illness permitting, your children attend every day right up to the last day. We would also ask that you do all you can to make sure your children arrive at school on time each morning.
We would like to welcome the following three new governors to the governing body. We are happy to inform you that Susan Camara and Azmina Bakh will be taking on the role of Parent Governors and Emily Fleuriot will take on the role of Co-Opted Governor.
Just a final reminder that school finishes for the Christmas holidays on Wednesday 20th December for Nursery and Thursday 21st December at 1:30pm for years Reception - Year 6
