15th September, 2023
Dear Links Families,
I hope you and your families are well and that you have had a good week. It’s been the first full week of school for our children and the vast majority of the children have settled in well to their new classes. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
It’s been a particularly exciting week for some of our Year 6 children who have been on their residential visit to PGL Liddington in Wiltshire. I had the privilege of visiting for the day yesterday and they are clearly having a fantastic experience and their willingness to have at go at all the activities is great to see. Their behaviour was impeccable at all times. We are very proud of them. I’m particularly grateful to the staff members who have given of their time so willingly to allow the trip to take place.
Our Year 4 children have also begun their swimming lessons this week and the progress already is very impressive.
House Points
Congratulations to Red House who accrued the most house points this week.

Attendance
It really is so important for your child to be in school every day. If your child is just feeling a little bit under the weather, it’s fine to send them in. Please rest assured that we will always call you if they need to be picked up.
If your child is absent from school, please make sure that you report the reason for your child’s absence- if you don’t we are unable to authorise the absence. The easiest way to do this is via the free Studybugs app.
