Dear Links families,

I’d like to begin by wishing a happy Eid to all our families who are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr this weekend.

I’m writing to you at the end of the first week of term and I want to tell you how impressed I am with your children. They have been very welcoming and friendly and it is clear that the vast majority of your children are incredibly polite, well-behaved and hard working and they are a credit to you. Thank you for the way in which you work with the staff here to support your children’s learning. I am sure you will continue to support the school in this way.

NEU Strike Action

I wrote to you earlier in the week to give you advance notice about the planned industrial action on Thursday 27th April & Tuesday 2nd May. You will have received a separate communication from the school confirming that school will be closed to all classes on both days.

Bank Holidays

Please be reminded that Monday 1st May and Monday 8th May are bank holidays so the school will be closed on that day.

School Uniform Expectations
