Links News
Friday 26th September, 2025
Dear Links Families,

Today we held our playtime cake sale in support of MacMillan Cancer Support. Thank you for all of the cake donations, it’s thanks to you, our cake sale was a success. We are thrilled to announce that we raised £381 for this worthwhile charity.
This week, the Heads of School spent Tuesday morning dropping into lessons, looking in books and chatting with the children about their learning. We were so impressed to see the children demonstrating good learning behaviours; putting their hands up to answer questions, working out questions on their whiteboards and talking confidently about their writing.
Year 4 also had a great day on Tuesday. They took part in the Poetry Slam at our partner school - Cranmer Primary School. In conjunction with The Polka theatre, the children took part in poetry workshops, writing their own poems and then performing them. It was a great day!
