Links Primary School

Links News

Friday 5th July 2024

Dear Links Families,

It was so lovely to see so many of you at this week’s Musical Extravaganza. This year the children in years 2, 3 and 4 have been working hard to develop their musical skills; vocal and instrumental. Thank you to Miss H from Merton Music Foundation, who teaches the children a weekly music session. Next year, the children will continue to develop their musical skills and learn a different instrument.

Today Year 5 braved the rain and visited London Zoo. This was a lovely way to celebrate all the knowledge they had learned about ‘The Amazon’. Lincoln, the school bear, has also joined them on the adventure.

Just a reminder that this evening (Friday 2nd July) is our annual Summer Social, 6pm till 8pm. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.

School will close for the summer on Wednesday 24th July at 1:30pm. Please note that there will be no afterschool club on that day.  The last day of nursery will be Tuesday 23rd July at the normal time.

Links will reopen for all pupils on Wednesday 4th September, 2024 at the usual time. If you are new to Links… welcome! Niki will be in touch with you regarding your bespoke start day.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office or email enquiries@links.merton.sch.uk
