Links News
Friday 13th June, 2025
Dear Links Families,
The sun is shining and it has been another busy week at school. This week our year 4 children have been busy putting all their hard work into practice as they completed their Multiplication Tables Check. They worked extremely hard and completed the twenty questions online in a limited amount of time. We are all extremely proud of their achievements and the way they conducted and supported each other this week.
Next week is arts week and this year we have a multicultural theme. Our arts week embraces all the arts including dance, drama, art and cooking and Miss Eades-Jones and Miss Marcelo have planned a jam packed timetable so that all year groups get the opportunity to take part in lots of activities. We can’t wait! Thank you to all the parents who have also volunteered to help out too, your help and support is really appreciated.
Don’t forget that on Friday the Children are welcome to wear traditional clothing or flag colours from a country of their choice on Friday. Sports clothing has to be linked to culture.
We are also collecting photos for our fashion gallery. We would love to see photos of the children dressed in their traditional outfits whether it be a kilt from Scotland, a kimono from Japan or a Sari from Sri Lanka. Please upload pictures wearing their traditional clothing on google classroom or enquiries@links.merton.sch.uk so later on we can display them in an online fashion gallery.
