Links News
Friday 16th May, 2025
Dear Links Families,
This week, our Year 6 children completed their SATs tests, and we couldn’t be prouder! Their maturity and resilience throughout the week was truly impressive. Each pupil demonstrated determination and a positive attitude, supporting one another along the way. It’s been rewarding to witness their teamwork and spirit as they tackled this important milestone.
Today, Year 1 visited the Polka to watch the show ‘Let’s Build’. They had a wonderful time watching two very curious builders, who transformed objects into wonderful creations that come to life. It got super exciting when the children got to build too! We are very proud of our Year 1 children, who behaved beautifully and represented the school so well.
Tonight is the Early Years and Year 1 & 2 PTA disco! Thank you to all those who have supported our PTA. Their incredible hard work and fundraising all goes back to the children. Last term they bought new play equipment for the playground. If you would like to join the PTA or help at one of their events, drop them an email at ptalinksprimary@gmail.com
We are sad to announce that Coach Cardisha will be moving on, after half term. We wish her all the best in her new school and we know she will be missed. However, we are pleased to let you know that we have found her replacement. Coach Ramel has spent the week, team teaching with Coach Cardisha to ensure a smooth handover. If you see him, please be sure to say hello.
Just a reminder that school closes for May half term next
Friday 23rd May 2025.
We will welcome all children back to school on
Monday 2nd June 2025.
Little Links

We would like to give a special-shout out to Sophie Spencer and Sarah Sutton for supporting Little Links Playgroup. After a little hiatus, we are pleased to announce that Little Links will be back after half term, every Tuesday 9am -10am.
