Links News

Friday 28th November, 2024

`

Dear Links Families,

This afternoon our children travelled the world in our geography afternoon. Each class visited another year group to learn about their geography topic. From the UK to Kenya, learning about volcanoes, earthquakes and rivers. We have had a lovely adventure learning key facts and completing specific activities linking to this exciting geography topic.

It has been a very cold week, with temperatures reminding us that winter is truly here. While the school remains warm and cozy, we kindly remind parents to ensure children bring a coat to stay comfortable during outdoor play times. Please make sure you write your child’s name on their coat, our lost property box is overflowing with lost items!

And finally, just a reminder that the school closes on Friday 20th December at 2pm and will reopen for all children on Monday 6th January 2025

Mufti Day

Next Monday 2nd December is a MUFTI day. The children can wear their own clothes to school, to raise donations for the Christmas Fair. We are asking the children to bring in a bottle (alcoholic, juice, fizzy drink, bubble bath etc) or a Christmas Treat (Christmas theme chocolate, biscuits, selection boxes etc).

Friday Tuck Shop

The children have asked us to send out a reminder, that on Fridays we have a tuck shop.

All items are healthy snacks and cost 80p.
