Dear Links Families,
I hope you and your families are well. It was good to see some of you at our MacMillan coffee morning earlier today. A thoroughly worthwhile cause and one which I am delighted that we can support as a school. Thank you to the members of the PTA who helped to organise the events and to those of you who donated cakes. You’ll be pleased to know that we raised £158. If you would like to add a donation please feel free to do so using the link http://www.justgiving.com/cm23021799.
Harvest Festival
We are looking forward to our Harvest Festival on Tuesday 10th October. Please look out for a separate letter with further information.
School Council
This week pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 have read their statements to their class, on why they should be their class representative. Each class has voted and today in assembly the 2023-2024 School Council Representatives were revealed.
Congratulations to:
Raya (1W), Nathan (1EJ), Olivia (2B), Chase (2T), Lily (3B), Maya (3P), Athis (4T), Juno (4M), Ornella (5KG), Amelie (5M), Anais 6M and Oliver (6G).
Birthday Celebrations
Birthdays are important milestones for children of all ages. At Links, we recognise that children enjoy sharing their special day with classmates. Due to a high number of allergies we do not allow birthday cakes and treats in school. If you would like to mark this celebration with your child’s class. We ask that you bring in something for their classroom. e.g. A book for the book corner, a game or an item off the classes amazon wish list (currently under construction).
We would like to thank you for your continued support in making the school a safe environment for all.
October Playscheme- Bookings
We are now taking bookings for our October playscheme, which will be running from Monday 23rd October to Thursday 26th October.
Playscheme is available to all Links children from Reception to Year 6 and for Nursery children who regularly attend breakfast or after school club. Please use this booking form to book your space. https://www.links.merton.sch.uk/Playscheme/
