Links News
Friday 6th June, 2025
Dear Links Families,

We would like to wish all those celebrating an Eid Mubarak! We hope that you have a lovely time celebrating with your family and friends.
This week, some of our Year 4 children attended a 3-day residential at Sayers Croft in Ewhurst, Surrey. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and didn’t let the good old English weather stop them from making catapults, shelter building, pond dipping, river walking, zip lining and marshmallow roasting. Mrs Anderson, Mrs Trounce, Miss Brown and Miss Paha, made a sneaky trip down to visit them and they came back very jealous! The children arrived back this afternoon, very tired and with suitcases full of muddy clothes!
Today, our Year 6 children visited AFC Wimbledon. Where they took part in an Anti-Racism session, visited the players changing room, toured the stadium and even played a game of football. A big thank you to AFC Wimbledon for inviting us! Check out the photos below, in Links in Action.
On Tuesday, we reopened Little Links. It was so lovely to see so many of you and your little ones. We are open every Tuesday morning 9am-10am, please spread the word to your neighbours.
Last term we sent out a parent survey, asking you what social media platforms you use. From this, we found out that many of you are using Instagram. We are pleased to announce that Links Primary is now on Instagram and have started posting. You can find us by searching links_primary_school
A message from Links PTA
Congratulations to Erica (Reception) and Lucy (Year 1) for winning the Aspire Estate Agent sign. They each win 5 tokens to spend at the Summer Fair.
Another congratulations to the runners-up, Harriet, Chase and Beatrix, who each get 2 tokens to spend at the fair.
These signs are a great way to highlight the Summer Fair, but also Links Primary School.
The PTA gets £10 for every board, so please fill in the Google form, if you are able to have one outside your property. The company will put them up and take them down, and they will only be up for around 2 weeks.
