PTA
New to the school?
The PTA is a voluntary organisation made up of parents and carers.
As a parent at Links Primary you are automatically a member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA support the school by raising funds to help make our children’s experience at Links as rich as it can be. The PTA also holds events for parents and children which are great fun and bring us together as a community.
How can you get involved?
There are many ways to get involved. It’s a good way to meet other parents, and to find out what’s going on at school. Come along to a meeting or contact the chair or secretary. All parents are welcome.
You could:
- Volunteer to help at an event – we always need people to help at events, whether it’s making cakes, helping on a stall or sweeping the floor.
- Organise an event
- Come to the meetings
- Be a Class Representative
The AGM is at the beginning of every Autumn term and officers are voted in or volunteer.

Links School Winter Fair
Friday 5th December 3.30-5.30pm
We are excited to share news about the Links Winter Fair:
TOKENS
We will be accepting tokens instead of cash at the fair. You can buy tokens on MCAS at a special rate of 12 tokens for £10. You will also be able to purchase tokens on the day priced at £1 per token - we will be accepting card and cash.
Here’s an idea of the prices on the day:
Christmas treat tombola: 1 token = 3 tickets
Games and lucky dip: 1 token
Santa: 3 tokens (2 children for 5 tokens)
Craft table: 1 token
Raffle tickets: 2 tokens
Glitter tattoos: 1 token
Bric a brac stall: 1-3 tokens
Bar: Krispy Kreme donuts, snacks, soft drinks, prosecco, beer, hot chocolate : 1-3 tokens
TOY RAFFLE
Our amazing TOY RAFFLE is back again this year - you can buy tickets in advance on MCAS - 6 tickets for £10!! Please note: This year there is a limit of 2 prizes per child.
If you are able to help with the any of the activities please sign up below…we can’t run these fairs without help. And every slot you sign up for gains you one entry to our VOLUNTEER RAFFLE!! This year there are 2 prizes: a family ticket to the Elfmas Family Rave and tickets for 2 to Club de Fromage daytime party!! See below for details…

We will be having a mufti day on the day of the fair to collect ‘Christmas treats’ for the tombola - wear your own clothes and bring a treat!
AND there will be a special performance by the Links music group at 4pm!
